How it works
Embark on a culinary experience that will bring the team together. Start with an arrival reception with passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by hands-on activity(s) that involve working directly with food ingredients, and finish with a delectable meal. Ideal for team-building, the Interactive Culinary Experience brings people together through the exchange of ideas, problem solving and teamwork.
Guests make part of their meal, compete in teams, and/or learn recipes and cooking methods, depending on the hands-on activity selected. Current themes are listed below:
Authentic Italian: Learn the artisanal Italian craft of pizza making. Team up with your colleagues to customize a pizza based on a variety of ingredients. Compete to perfect a pie that will be judged by the chef and enjoyed as part of the meal. Fill cannolis with house-made ricotta cream as you prepare this authentic Italian staple for dessert.
Latin-American: Immerse yourself in Latin-American ingredients as you make salsa fresca from scratch. Roll up your sleeves as you prepare your own portion of guacamole. Work alongside your colleagues to perfect a signature recipe that will awaken your taste buds.
Mixology: Learn how to make mojitos from scratch. Muddle, mix and stir until you perfect the flavor of this traditional Cuban cocktail. Next, learn how to make sangria using the freshest ingredients. Compete in teams to create this tasty authentic Spanish summer cocktail.
